As a provincial public body, we collect, use and disclose personal information only as authorized by the BC Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. We collect personal information from individuals who make submissions on what BC’s provincial electoral boundaries should be. This information is collected through our website, at public meetings, and through correspondence like letters and emails. We will publish an individual’s name along with their submission. We will never publish personal contact information, like someone’s telephone number or address. Personal information may be disclosed to employees and service providers of the Commission. Beyond these disclosures, we do not share the personal information we collect with third parties.
